Premiums are calculated from each carrier's published rate table using that carrier's own formula (rate per $1,000 x coverage, plus the annual policy fee, times the payment-mode factor). They are an estimate, not a quote or an offer of coverage. Your actual premium depends on the carrier's underwriting decision and can vary by state; rate tables also change. Coverage is not bound until the carrier confirms it in writing.

The figures above are each carrier’s published rate-book price. Which carriers will accept your health answers — and at what price — takes a licensed agent a few minutes to confirm.

How this is calculated

Nearly every carrier here prices the same way: an annual rate per $1,000 of coverage, multiplied by the coverage you want, plus a fixed annual policy fee, multiplied by a factor for how often you pay. Royal Neighbors is the one exception — it converts the rate to your payment mode first, then adds a per-mode certificate fee. This tool applies each carrier’s own numbers and its own formula, including its rounding rule, so the figures match each carrier’s quoting sheet to the cent.

A rate guide’s issue date is not its retrieval date. Carriers refile rates, and a carrier can withdraw or reprice a plan without reissuing the guide, so treat every figure here as the published rate for that document — not a live quote. Plans behind the older-rate-books switch are the most likely to have been repriced.

Premiums are calculated from each carrier's published rate table using that carrier's own formula (rate per $1,000 x coverage, plus the annual policy fee, times the payment-mode factor). Frequently asked questions

What does Secure Final Plan actually do?

We are an independent insurance brokerage licensed in all 50 states. We compare final expense, burial, and life insurance policies from multiple top-rated carriers and match you with the coverage and price that fit your age, health, and budget.

Does it cost anything to use your service?

No. Comparing quotes and talking with a licensed agent is free. If you buy a policy, the carrier pays us a commission — your premium is the same as buying direct.

Can I get coverage if I have health problems?

In most cases, yes. Simplified issue policies ask a few health questions with no exam, and guaranteed issue policies ask no health questions at all — acceptance is guaranteed for eligible ages.

How fast can coverage start?

Many simplified issue policies can be approved in days — some the same day. Policies with full first-day coverage begin protecting your family as soon as they are in force.

What ages do you work with?

Our focus is ages 50 to 85 — the range final expense and guaranteed issue products are built for. Younger applicants looking at term or whole life are welcome too.
